Decorating the Bathroom

We have the mammoth task of decorating our entire house, we are renting but it’s not been done in a few years and we’ve been given free reign to decorate as we like (supplies paid for). At the moment the house is magnolia throughout and just needs some colour brought into it. Ideally I would have done the sitting room first but there’s some building work to be done so the bathroom has been the first room. This is mostly because when in B&Q with Gareth we spotted a paint called Decadence and decided it would be perfect for our bathroom. [...] Click To Read More

Happy Blog Birthday!

I was just sitting here thinking it must be nearly a year since I started my blog, so went to check and discovered it is one year today! One year ago today I was heavily pregnant with my 3rd child and desperately symptom spotting, he didn’t make his appearance for another 2 weeks. How quickly a year flies by when you have children. Starting with the very early birth of his triplets at just 25 weeks and 6 days.   All in all it was reasonably lucky to have been able to hold out this long! We had a scare at 23 weeks, which at that point they would have been classed as a late miscarriage. Then at 24 weeks a bunch of factors conspired together that we didn’t get another scan. So that at the beginning of week 25 we were sent to Portsmouth! Richard was born first at 10.34 then [...] Click To Read More

Today I am sharing Markus’ story, be prepared for an emotional read, in fact I found Markus’ experience quite difficult to read in one sitting, as it’s such a roller-coaster, that I have separated it into different posts. Today is part one, I hope you enjoy reading as much as I did.   Hi I’m Markus. I’m 37 years old and originally from Germany, came over to this lovely country in May 2000. You can find me on twitter: @markusj75 or read my blog at: http://misterdoctorbeckymark2.wordpress.com Before I met my soon to be wife Dr B, I would have told you that I [...] Click To Read More
